While his title is Managing Partner, Shawn Sanger is closer in function to a quarterback at Arvada Wealth. With over 25+ years in the industry, Shawn parses the forest from the trees when coordinating Arvada’s robust team to help ensure clients are receiving the best in both offensive and defensive strategies. His true joy is watching those he serves leave the office with a smile on their face and confidence in their hearts about what the future holds.
Background and Experience
Shawn developed deep proficiencies over his career in financial services – particularly in dealing with the complexities of large organizations - at places like Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisors. Eager to provide superior customer service in an increasingly homogenous industry, he helped pioneer Arvada so both his team and their clients would be free to carve out a better path in life. In addition to a degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation to improve his offerings and strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Away from the Office
A lifelong Nebraskan who grew up in Scribner, Shawn now especially appreciates the family-first mindset in Bennington, NE. He and his wife Kristi are incredibly proud of their 3 children - Alec, Savannah, and Sierra – as they begin leaving the nest and finding their own way in the world. They’re the reason Shawn gets up with a smile on his face every morning - he loves spending time with them, particularly at their cabin in the Ozarks. His heart for others extends beyond family, though. Shawn mentors students to reach their full potential through TeamMates Mentoring, lifts up the lesser fortunate by volunteering with the Salvation Army, and supports the mission of the Child Saving Institute. When he manages to get some free time, you’ll find him on the links golfing or on the water boating!
